Therapeutic Writing Workshop – WRITE Festival

Suitable for ages 16+
In our monthly therapeutic writing group, you’ll explore guided prompts, creative exercises, and open discussions in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Whether you’re experienced in writing or picking up a pen for the first time, this group offers a safe space to process emotions, gain clarity, build confidence, and connect with others on a similar journey.
No experience necessary. No pressure to share your work. Please bring a pen and paper / notebook to the session
The September workshop forms part of our WRITE Festival and will take place on Sat 13 September, 1.30-3.30pm.

About Amy Hartwell
Amy is a Writing for Wellbeing Practitioner with a Postgraduate certificate in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes. Studying in depth, the therapy side of writing and counselling skills. Featured on BBC Newcastle and BBC Tees Radio.
