The History of Marsden Rock and Marsden Grotto – Bill Greenwell – At Cleadon Park Library

£1 per person

Suitable for ages 16+

Sold Out

How long has Marsden Rock been there? Has it always been there? How long have people been going to look at it? Who was the first person to live at Marsden? What kind of people were Peter and Lizzie Allan, who first ran the Marsden Grotto? When did the Grotto start? Who owned it first?

Bill Greenwell will be joining us at Cleadon Park Library to answer all these and many other questions as he discusses his book A History of Marsden Rock and Marsden Grotto, a 350-page exploration of the place and its people.

Copies of the book will be available at the talk.

Please follow any Covid guidelines in place at the time of the event.
