Supercharge Your Writing – Writing for Children with James Harris

Join us for a two-part writing workshop with James Harris, as part of our Supercharge Your Writing series.

James’ workshops will guide you through crafting a surprising, intriguing and hooky opening chapter for your children’s book. You’ll put James’ tips into practice in the first session and feedback will be given on your first chapter in the second.

The workshops take place on:

• Tuesday 9 August, 6-7.30pm
• Tuesday 23 August, 6-7.30pm

Please note: By booking a ticket you are booking to attend both sessions. 

ABOUT JAMES HARRIS

James Harris is an author, filmmaker and performer based in Middlesbrough. In 2019 he won the Hachette Childrens’ Novel prize at the Northern Writers’ Awards. His middle grade books The Unbelievable Biscuit Factory and Happytown Must Be Destroyed are published by Hachette.
