South Shields Creative Writing Group was set up in 2019 by acclaimed local author Adam Peacock. Since its inception six of its members have gone on to publish novels, whilst others have won prizes and recognition in short story competitions and have been published in anthologies.

The group is always looking for new members who enjoy writing and wish to hone their writing skills. The group meets twice monthly on the first and third Sunday of each month at The Word from 1.45-3.45pm.
