These workshops are open to anyone resident in South Tyneside, if you’ve never written a poem in your life, or if you’ve been penning verse since you could walk these sessions are for you. Rowan wants to prove that anyone can write a poem and that it doesn’t have to be boring or cryptic.
“You can write a poem about literally anything, it could be something huge and political or small and seemingly insignificant. It’s all about using your own voice, not someone else’s.”
