Library Walk – Hebburn Central to The Word (via Jarrow Library)

Join us for a walk from Hebburn Library to The Word in South Shields (via Jarrow Library).

The walk open to everybody; it’s free to attend and you don’t need to sign up. Simply turn up on the day and join us for some fresh air, good company and a pleasant ramble.

Our route will take us from Hebburn Library along the Tyne to Jarrow Library (Approx arrival 11.45 – There will be time for a comfort break). From Jarrow we will head to the pedestrian Tunnel to cross under the Tyne.  Once on the North side we will head to the Ferry Landing to take the Ferry to South Shields (You will need to pay your own fare on the ferry). We aim to get back to The Word at around 2.30 where refreshments will be provided.
