Becoming a novelist will feature Sunday Times Bestselling author Lucy Rose and debut novelist, Lauren Wilson. Learn all about how to take your ideas and break them out into novels, develop compelling story ideas and navigating the literary world.

LUCY ROSE is a Sunday Times Bestselling author, and her fiction and non-fiction have been published by Dread Central, Mslexia, The Observer, The Nerd Daily and more, and her films have visited BAFTA- and Oscar-qualifying film festivals internationally. She is also a Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe class of 2025. Her debut novel, The Lamb was published by Hachette and HarperCollins.

LAUREN WILSON has a BA (Hons) degree in Journalism and an MA in Creative Writing, both from Northumbria University. She has previously worked as a freelance radio reporter and for Mslexia, a magazine committed to championing women writers. She lives in North East England with her fiancé and their snuggly spaniels. Her acclaimed debut novel, The Goldens, was selected as a Waterstones Book of the Month in July 2025.
