Great Expectations

£8 per person

Suitable for ages 16+

Booking Required

Gerald Dickens, the great great grandson of Charles Dickens, returns to The Word to perform his one man adaptation of Great Expectations.

The adaptation takes Pip from the lonely cold Kentish marshes and follows his journey into the respectable world of London.  Along the way we meet some of Dickens’s greatest characters: Miss Haversham, Estella, Herbert Pocket, Mr Jaggers, Wemmick and the Aged P.

Although simply staged Great Expectations is a truly dramatic and memorable show.
