Football Takeover at The Word

Join us from Monday 29 July to Friday 2 August for five days of football fun, delivered in partnership with The Fans Museum.

The Fans Museum will be bringing a range of football memorabilia, including boots, balls and trophies for you to see, plus hundreds of mens and women’s shirts from national, international and British football teams.

Drop-in on the following dates and times:

• Monday 29 July, 10am-4pm
• Tuesday 30 July, 10am-4pm
• Wednesday 31 July, 10am-4pm
• Thursday 1 August, 10am-4pm
• Friday 2 August, 10am-12pm

Activities will be taking place throughout the week including football and subterranean soccer tables (29 & 30 July) and a chance to make football strips for teddy bears (29 & 31 July and 2 August).

You will also be able to try on shirts from famous players, lift iconic trophies, design your own kit, meet some of the iconic former players and hear their stories of past and more!
