Finding Margaret is the page-turning autobiographical tale of a man overcoming the guilt of betraying the mum and dad who adopted him to track down the woman he never knew who put him in a Catholic orphanage. Andrew will be interviewed by Kevin Maguire. Politics and the Royal Family are also likely to be discussed.

About Andrew Pierce

Consultant Editor, The Daily Mail Feared and revered in equal measure, Andrew Pierce is a tenacious political hack with a talent for breaking stories about the great and good. Pierce, 59, was brought up on a Swindon council estate, attended his local comp, never went to university and cut his teeth on local papers. He was on The Times for 17 years where he was assistant editor and spent six years on The Daily Telegraph where he was assistant editor.

As consultant editor of The Daily Mail he is the most senior out gay journalist in British newspapers. He is also a seasoned broadcaster, has a weekly radio show on LBC, and is a regular pundit on Good Morning Britain and Sky News. He has appeared on BBC Question Time, and regularly makes the top 100 in the influential gays list.

About Kevin Maguire

Kevin Maguire is one of the country’s best known journalists. The Daily Mirror’s associate editor is on TV and radio almost daily and has appeared on Have I Got News for You and Question Time. Still calling South Shields “home”, Kevin’s back regularly and is a visiting professor at Sunderland University. He pens a weekly column in the New Statesman magazine and before the Mirror worked on The Guardian and Daily Telegraph and regularly features on Good Morning Britain with Andrew Pierce. Married to novelist Emma Burstall, he co-authored a book on Great Parliamentary Scandals.
