Roll up, roll up and celebrate the fascinating world of cogs and carnivals at our new exhibition!

The exhibition brings all the fun of a vintage funfair to The Word, featuring mechanical marvels and games which you can play, move and explore.

The installation will bemuse, baffle and bewilder with 30 interactive mechanics, inspired by the fairground and created by renowned and international artists.

Come along and discover the secrets and science behind the art of these fascinating, moving models.

• Explore the wonders of gravity with an interactive helter-skelter marble run
• Baffle the senses with optical illusions and the Hall of Mirrors
• Get a glimpse into the future and have a go on the Wheel of Fortune
• Impress with games of skill to test reflexes and nerves of steel

Cogs and Carnivals is open throughout the summer and early autumn until Sunday 2 November.

The exhibition is both fun and educational and perfect for all ages!
