Northumberland 1453. Innkeeper’s son Rob Gibson is a young man desperate to escape the dismal future that is planned for him. When Rob encounters an injured nobleman and decides to help him, it seems as if fate has provided a once in a lifetime opportunity. This act of kindness leads to Rob becoming pitched into a rapidly escalating local feud. A feud that will see him not only gain steadfast comrades but also attract deadly enemies.
Set in a period when a vicious dynastic vendetta threatens to plunge a troubled nation into open warfare, Rob and his companions face mortal danger as they are dragged into the centre of events that will change the course of British history forever.
