Join award-winning comedian Jason Cook who will return to his South Tyneside roots for a fascinating interactive Q&A session that will dive into all aspects of his outstanding career.
Budding writers and comedians will be inspired by Jason as his delves into how he got into comedy and everything you need to know about his career so far, including the hit sitcom Hebburn.
The Customs House Executive Director, Ray Spencer MBE will be hosting the Q&A session where he will ask the questions you all want to know the answer to.

About Jason Cook
Jason Cook was born and bred in South Tyneside, after attending South Tyneside College he joined the merchant Navy but it wasn’t until 2005 when he started his career in comedy.
He became a part of a sketch group called Soups and in 2007 he performed his solo show ‘My Confessions’ at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which was inspired by his father’s stroke and recovery. It won the ‘best international show’ category at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival .
The in 2011, he created, co-wrote and appeared in the hit sitcom Hebburn, which was based in his hometown. It has since went on to win several awards, including the Royal Television Society award and was nominated for a National Television Award.
