The Big Book of Monsters
12 May 2018 – 13 September 2018
Big Book of Monsters was an installation in our ground floor pod where visitors could explore magical maps and mysterious landscapes with their own personal monster. A giant, interactive book allowed children big and small to strike a pose and make a shadow monster, and then, add their own page to a spooky story, by moving words across the screen.
Starting at Skull Island, visitors could choose from various destinations on the interactive map to start their own monster story and begin the adventure. The interactive book included sound, light and technology to create a captivating and immersive experience.
The Big Book of Monsters was designed and built by ITHACA Studio and featured as part of our Monsters! The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly exhibition.
