Local filmmaker Gary Wilkinson will be screening three of his films at The Word especially for Heritage Open Days. The films being screened include Westoe Rose (which follows the story of Amy Flagg – 14mins), Wildflower (a documentary about author George Orwell – 15mins) and also Breaking Ground (a film full of heritage exploring the Bede Digs 1965-1978 – 15mins).
