Suitable for 2-6 year olds
TechyTots is a class for parents and children and is aimed at 2-6 year olds. The sessions bring together technology and play, to introduce children to coding.
TechyTots are the very first class of this kind and their aim is to work on the first steps of coding with children at a young age to help prepare them for the technical world we live in, whilst also making it fun.
‘Coding’, for those who do not already know, is a set of instructions for a computer or device. In the sessions, TechyTots encourages children to do this by using robots and the most advanced toys available on the market. They also use activities which encourage problem solving skills and sequencing which are not only educational but lots of fun too!
Every week there will be a different theme!
The new TechtyTots term begins in 24 February 2018. The term will run for 6 weeks, every Saturday between 10.30-11.30am. Each session with have a different theme:
- 24 February – Peter Rabbit
- 3 March – World Book Day (Charlie and The Chocolate Factory)
