Get ready for a summer of treasure-seeking fun with the Mischief Makers!

For this year’s Summer Reading Challenge we’re off to Beanotown, where rumour has it there’s a treasure chest full of epic pranks waiting to be discovered.

Come along to our weekly craft sessions throughout the summer at The Word and enjoy a range of Mischief Maker themed crafts.

Join us at The Word every Monday and Thursday between 10-11am and 2.30-3.30pm for our weekly craft sessions.

  • Menacing Mayhem – 23 & 26 July
  • Horrid Henry Fun – 30 July & 2 August
  • Bash Street Kids Schools Out– 6 & 9 August
  • Mr Men and Little Miss Mischief Makers – 13 & 16 August
  • Keep it clean! Beano Craft – 20 & 23 August
  • Cat in the Hat Fun – 27 & 30 August

Please note: the same craft is repeated in the Monday and Thursday sessions.

The Summer Reading Challenge is organised by The Reading Agency charity and the public library network and is aimed at children aged 4-11 year olds and their families.
