Summer Reading Challenge 2017 – Animal Agents

4-11 year olds

The Challenge

There’s something very unusual going on at library’s across the UK and the Animal Agents need your child’s help to solve the mystery!

From solving the case of graffiti writing to the strange case of missing lunch, children can join in the Animal Agents fun by taking part in the annual Summer Reading Challenge at your local library.

Sign your child up at The Word from Saturday 15 July and all they have to do is read six library books of their choice over summer to complete the challenge. There are clues to collect and it’s FREE to take part! All children who sign up will be given a collector folder to keep a record of their Summer Reading Challenge journey as well as receive a certificate and medal when they have completed the challenge.

Craft Sessions

There will also be weekly themed craft sessions for your child to get involved in. Find out more and book your place at the Animal Agent Craft Sessions.

If your child has taken part in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, please give us your feedback. You will be entered into a prize draw to win a £30 shopping voucher.

The Summer Reading Challenge is organised by The Reading Agency charity and the public library network.
