About Nancy Revell
Nancy Revell is the author of the Shipyard Girls series.
She came back to live in her hometown of Sunderland two years ago after starting to write the saga series which is about the lives and loves of a group of women working in the north-east shipyards during the Second World War.
Her latest instalment in the Shipyard Girls series – ‘Shipyard Girls In Love’ – has just been published, following on from ‘Secrets of the Shipyard Girls’, ‘Shipyard Girls at War’, and ‘The Shipyard Girls’.
The subject is particularly close to Nancy’s heart as she comes from a long line of shipbuilders, who were well known in the area.
Nancy is a former journalist who worked for all the national newspapers, providing them with hard-hitting news stories and in-depth features.
