Inpress Presents… Tricks of the Trade: A Guide to the World of Publishing

The life of a book from conception to the shelf.

This session offers a practical overview of the publishing process from conception to print, giving budding authors, publishers and anyone interested in learning about the book trade an insight into how that one flash of inspiration makes its way onto bookshelves.

This session will cover the nuts and bolts of the often mysterious world of publishing, showing the work that goes in to making a book a success.

Sharing their knowledge of the process are Stephanie Hodgson from Seven Stories, Frankie Porter from Moth Publishing, Rebecca Robinson from Inpress and Mark Stanton of the recently launched literary agency, The North.
