Literary Agent Mark Stanton (Stan) joined Jenny Brown Associates in 2004. He represents writers from an array of genres including: literary fiction, crime and thrillers and non-fiction – particularly in the areas of sport and popular culture. In 2011 he was short-listed for Literary Agent of the Year.
Publicist Maura Brickell is an award-winning arts publicist with 10 years of experience in the publishing industry. She worked in-house at Bloomsbury, Headline and arts PR agency, Riot Communications, before setting up Maura PR &Communications in 2015 working with clients such as Ann Cleeves, Rachel Abbott, Sophia Bennett and Viv Groskop.
Author Mari Hannah was born in London and moved north as a child. Sponsored by the Home Office, she graduated from Teesside University before becoming a Probation Officer, a career cut short when she was injured while on duty. Thereafter, she spent several years working as a film/television scriptwriter. During that time she created and developed a number of projects. She lives in Northumberland with her partner, an ex-murder detective. In 2010, she won the Northern Writers’ Award and this year she has been has been nominated for the Crime Writers’ Association Dagger in the Library for the second time.
Kris Doyle was born in South Shields. He now lives in London and works as a Senior Commissioning Editor at Picador. The authors he has worked with have won literary prizes and been bestsellers.
