Come along to these fantastic introductory workshops where you will examine architectural features – past and present – that can be turned into 3D printed chess pieces.

Use high contrast photographs as your inspiration and visit Julia Northam’s popular page Fietscher Fotos of South Shields & Surrounding that has an extensive image library that now has over 3,000 members!

This is the first time we have used FabLab as an artist’s space and we are very excited to welcome you to let your imagination run wild as you create some wonderful pieces.

This one off payment is for three consecutive sessions listed here:

Group One: Sunday 23 April. 1-3pm
Sunday 30 April, 1-3pm
Sunday 7 May, 1-3pm

Group Two: Tuesday 25 April, 4-6pm
Tuesday 2 May, 4-6pm
Tuesday 9 May, 4-6pm

Group Three: Thursday 27 April, 4.30-6.30pm

Once you have signed up, any stored designs and images should be accessible from any computer, but it is worth also worth keeping them with you, on a standard SD storage card.
