Dinosaurs are taking over The Word for one day only!

Join us for a totally ‘roarsome’ day of dino-mania where you will get the chance to meet REX – a Tyrannosaurus Rex, as well as get involved in a range of crafts and attend an amazing interactive show all about the pre-historic creatures.

REX, a 8ft tall, 12ft long, walking, talking, roaring animatronic T-Rex will be interacting with visitors throughout the day (11.45am-12.30pm, 1.45-2.30pm and 3-3.30pm) and posing for photos!

The jam-packed programme of ‘roarsome’ events includes:

• Chance to see REX  (11.45am-12.30pm, 1.45-2.30pm and 3-3.30pm)
• Make your own fossils (£1 per fossil – to be paid at the time of craft)
• Become a Dino Ranger and defeat Dr Extinction in our amazing interactive Dino Show (11am-11.45am and 1-1.45pm. £4 per person, tickets must be pre-booked)
• Lots of photo and selfie opportunities including a dino photo-booth
• ‘Design your own dinosaur’ competition
• Explore real fossils
• Rex-citing crafts
• Storytime & dino-library (drop-in at 12.30pm or 2.30pm)
• Glitter tatoos (£1 per tattoo)
• ‘Name the dinosaur’ competition (£1 to enter)
