An evening with Norman Kirtlan – Forensic Artist
£2 per person
Suitable for ages 16+
Death From… Norman Kirtlan, a forensic expert, investigates the bizarre, tragic and shocking events that led to the death of our ancestors in Old County Durham.
The book, Death From… is a look at the role of coroner and some of the strange and tragic County Durham cases that Victorian coroners inquired into. Inquests, held in public houses, were invariably reported graphically in local newspapers and it was these old reports that inspired this look into the lives and deaths of our ancestors.
This is an event not to miss if you’re a fan of crime dramas such as C.S.I and interested in forensic investigation.
About Norman Kirtlan
