Hire Rooms

The Word is an iconic and unique venue for meetings, corporate events, training sessions, workshops and conferences.

It offers a number of flexible spaces that can be adapted to meet your needs, including:

• The Round
  • A creative space on the 3rd floor. This room has a large screen perfect for presentations. It also has a built in sound system with 2 microphones.
• Charles Dickens Room
  • The room is equipped with an interactive touch screen.
• Catherine Cookson Room
  • A flexible room that can be structured theatre style, boardroom style, classroom style and u-shape. The room is fully equipped with state-of-the art equipment including a touch screen.

Other spaces are available to hire upon request including StoryWorld and OpenZone.
