About your booking
- The information on the website is correct at the time of submission. Information provided is subject to be changed at any given time.
- We reserve the right to refuse any ticket holder entry to (and/or eject such person from) an event or to the building.
- By attending an event at The Word, you consent to the photography, filming and sound recording of your participation in any performance including as a member of the audience. We will endeavour to inform you prior to a performance if any recording/photography is to take place.
- It is your responsibility to check your tickets as soon as you have received them as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
Payments can be made by cash (in person at the Shop @ The Word only), or by credit and debit card through The Word’s Eventbrite. Tickets must be paid for at the time of booking and cannot be reserved.
For events taking place after 1 January 2018, as soon as payment is taken we are unable to offer refunds except if an event is cancelled or rescheduled (if the new date/time is not convenient). If any event is cancelled or rescheduled, any personal arrangements, including travel, accommodation, subsistence or hospitality relating to the event, which have been arranged by you, will not be refunded.
If you have booked the wrong date/time for your chosen event and wish to change, you will have to visit Shop @ The Word in person or call them on 0191 424 7788.
You will still be able to cancel your order for any events that are free but still require booking a place in advance.
Not all events promoted on The Word’s website are hosted by us. If an event asks you to book through a separate system other than The Word’s Eventbrite or at the Shop @ The Word, this will be subject to different booking policies.
